The Lost One Daughters of the Moon 6 Lynne Ewing Books
I have to admit, when I first heard that book 6 was going to be about ANOTHER girl with powers, I was a little disappointed. I thought Ewing was trying to replace Catty, and there was no way I wanted that to happen. The four daughters of the moon were perfect the way they were, right? Wrong.Tianna wakes up one day realizing that she has no idea who she is. She can't remember her name, who her parents are, or where she's from. She finds a piece of paper in her shoe with her name on it and realizes she must be Tianna. At least everyone at school knows that. Although she has no idea who any of the people at school are.
Soon she realizes that she has telekinetic powers, and that two strange guys are after her *who she later finds out are Followers*. Can Tianna avoid these two hooligans, while trying to find out who the mysterious girl in the black void is? Will she ever get her memory back?
This book is a must read for Lynne Ewing fans. The Lost One gives a fresh look on an already fresh series^_^ It has quickly become one of my favorites. Much love!

The Lost One Daughters of the Moon 6 Lynne Ewing Books Reviews
The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of five was I thought Tianna was a jerk, she tried to take Michael away from Vanessa and she also thinks too much of herself in my opinion. She kind of acts like a jerk in the upcoming books too.
But what happens is she wakes up with no memories what so ever she can't even remember her name but she found a note telling her that her name was Tianna Moore and that these strange guys are after her (who she later finds are Followers)and that the police won't believe her.
Then she goes to school and all these people are starring at her. She meets this one guy in the hall and decideds that she has to go to the bathroom she goes in and finds that she is beautiful. Then she meets this one girl and they become friends.
She then finds out that she is on the soccer team and she plays great. But then something wierd happened. She wishes this one girl will break her ankle and she does (really bad). She wonders how she could make that happen or if it was just a accident not caused by her.
Also she finds these strange bruises on her body. She finds out where her house is and goes to it thinking mabey she will be able to meet her family or see them at least. She finds her room and a journal of hers.
Also in the book she finds that in her powers she can also go to a different world just by concentrating but it's a world of mists she meets a girl there and wonders who she is......... There thats all I'm going to tell you. I highly recemend all the Daughters of the Moon since I've read them all.
One morning, a girl wakes up in an apartment with no idea who she is. Her memory is a complete blank. She can't even remember her own name. I can imagine that having amnesia would be horrible. The sensation of not-knowing. You don't know where you are, who you are, and where your family is. A total blank.
Worst of all, this girl is all alone. She has this feeling, she just KNOWS, that she is in real danger. In the bottom of her shoe, she finds a crumpled up note to the police, proving her feeling is correct. She is being followed; in danger, by something awful and evil. The Atrox.
The note is signed 'Tianna', which the girl assumes is her name. Luckily for Tianna, the apartment complex has a kind elderly woman, Hanna, as the landlady, who gives Tianna a ride to La Brea High school that day. The guys there look at her with interest and the girls with envy. But Tianna can't shake this uneasy feeling she has.
Vanessa, Serena, and Jimena soon begin to notice Tianna. They see that there is something sort of strange about her. She seems to make weird accidents happen and yet knows so little about herself.
What Tianna doesn't know yet is that she is a Daughter of the Moon. She is telekenetic; she has the incredible ability to move things with her mind. She was chosen by Selene, the ancient moon goddess, to spread hope to the earth. Tianna realizes she can help the Daughters of the Moon. If only she could just regain all her memories! Don't miss 'The Lost One'!
Tianna is an interesting character. With her memory gone, she brings a new point of view to the table when describing the other girls so you see a whole new side to them, even though if the readers have read books 1-4, they know what they're like. Vanessa's pessimism really shows and the creeped out vibes readers got to see from Morgan in book two when dealing with Serena are described a lot more.
Her power to move things with her mind has always been cool but her ability to transport herself and others into alternate dimensions is even cooler. It makes me think that there will be a showdown in other planes of existence in books to come.
And since I want to be honest on reviews although I hate to do it, I do have one negative thing to say. Tianna's memories are gone at the beginning of the book, but eventually, she gets bits and pieces of it back. Somehow she knows that she had to save Catty from the other dimension, but how she somehow knew that was meant to be her destiny is uncertain. When she expands on her memories, it makes sense why she was in LA, why the Followers were after her, and why she lost her memories - but saving Catty was never part of the picture, so how did Tianna know that's what she was there for? It was just something random.
Purchased a few from the series as a gift for my 15 year old who loves them! Plan on ordering more of the series.
My daughter loves it!
Loved it.
It has been a few months since I have read this read and I still remember the ENTIRE story. Part of me was sad for that girl, having no clue where or how she got into that apartment and have no memory, not knowing who to trust. Not to mention she had to go through all that craziness. But I did however love the ending because it made me smile.
I have to admit, when I first heard that book 6 was going to be about ANOTHER girl with powers, I was a little disappointed. I thought Ewing was trying to replace Catty, and there was no way I wanted that to happen. The four daughters of the moon were perfect the way they were, right? Wrong.
